WHAT TO WEAR & BRING TO NURSERY...
When it comes to dressing for day nursery, think comfort meets chaos! Go for soft, breathable fabrics—because who needs stiff clothes when you're about to dive into a world of paint and glitter? Grab old t-shirts and play clothes that you don’t mind turning into a modern art masterpiece! And let’s not forget sturdy shoes—because those little feet are about to embark on an adventure that would make Indiana Jones jealous!
TOILET TRAINING...
Toilet training is a significant milestone, and choosing the right clothes is essential! Go for easy-to-remove bottoms— Steer clear of tricky buttons or zippers; you want a swift getaway, not a struggle like dungarees! Wipeable shoes like clogs are great incase of accidents as opposed to fabric shoes.
WEATHER...
We believe in the joy of outdoor play, no matter the weather! As for clothing, dress them in layers—because we all know that kids can go from chilly to toasty in a heartbeat! And don’t forget a raincoat, scarf and gloves or sun hat and sun cream depending on what Mother Nature has in store for the day! You're welcome to bring your own puddle suit and wellies to ensure your little ones stay comfortable while exploring and having fun outside.

BACKPACK...
Here's a list of what to pack for your little one's day at Dots n Spots.
- Comforter - Packing a comforter such as a dummy or blanket for day nursery ensures your child has a cozy and familiar item to help them feel secure and comfortable during nap time. It creates a soothing environment that can ease separation anxiety and promote restful sleep.

- Nappies - Packing plenty of nappies for the day at nursery is essential to ensure your child's comfort and hygiene throughout the day. Children can go through multiple changes, having extra nappies on hand helps prevent any discomfort and cater for those accidents.
- Spare clothes - These are essential to ensure your child stays comfortable and dry throughout the day. Accidents can happen, whether it’s spills, mud, or unexpected weather changes. It gives you peace of mind knowing that your little one is prepared for anything the day may bring! We recommend packing at least two full outfit changes (more when toilet training) - don't forget vests, pants and socks! Please also pack weather-appropriate items for your little ones, like a warm hat and gloves for chilly days, or a sunhat for those sunny days!
At Dots n Spots, we provide wipes and nappy cream for your little ones, but we kindly ask parents to pack their own sun cream, and also welcome you to bring any specific wipes or creams if your child has sensitive skin.
