The staff and children would like to welcome you to
Dots 'n' Spots Day Nursery & Out of School Club. We are a registered charity and not for profit, with all fees going back into the setting.
We have been established since 2003, providing the children at our nursery with the best possible start in life.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff recognise the importance of the well-being and nurture of children as they grow and develop.
Childcare from 6 weeks
In our Nursery we provide high quality childcare with fully trained staff for children aged from 6 weeks to 4 years. We have a Baby Room 6 weeks to 16 months, Tweenie Room 16 months - 2 years, Toddler room 2 years - 3 years and a Pre School room 3 years - 4 years. We are proud of our fantastic outdoor areas allowing the children to explore in a safe and stimulating environment.
FREE childcare for 2 year olds
We currently have availability for 2 year old funded places. We offer full day and half day care. See our 'Free Childcare' page for more information and to check if you're eligible.
FREE childcare for 3 & 4 year olds
We currently have availability for 3 & 4 year old funded places. We offer wrap around care for Skelton Primary School. See our Free childcare page for more information and to check if you're eligible.
Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can affect a child's ability to learn.
That's why at Dots n Spots we have set up our Play School room for children with SEND. We are referral based for children who are already under assessment with the Local Authority SEND team.
We are providing care and Early Intervention for children with SEND, this will be for children age 2-5 years old, providing all our children with the ability to access all areas of learning and development. Each child has an equal opportunity to take part in the EYFS, with us they will be set realistic targets and strategies, provided with specialist resources and equipment to meet individual needs.
We are very proud and excited to be able to offer this service to families who have children with SEND and need a specialist provision for their child.
Out of School Club
We offer Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs providing full and half day care. We have a separate building suited to the needs of our 4 to 11 year old children. All staff are experienced and fully trained. Our Club children are always on the go with visits to local areas such as parks, play areas and mini golf as well as day trips to places such as Saltburn and Whitby. We also host fun in-house activities such as Zoo Lab!
